Specialist Shoes Donation

Ward Physiotherapist Maddie put in a bid for some specialist shoes; many patients on the ward need orthoses but don't have access to appropriate footwear that accommodates the insert. Not having suitable shoes can result in discomfort, instability and pressure sores. We have donated 6 pairs as a trial to encourage patients to buy their own shoes and assess how many can not afford to.
