Come and join the Friends at Queen Mary’s Hospital as a volunteer and help make a difference with our patients.

The Volunteers provide invaluable services and activities such as:-
Meet and Greet at Reception. A trolley service for the wards, the gym and outpatient areas.
Entertainment in the wards and celebrating patients’ birthdays. Dog visits to the wards.
Piano and chamber music in Reception. Assist with the general well-being of the patients

To volunteer for any of these roles please contact the number below or fill in the message box.
MEET & GREET
Be the first port of call of our visitors and help direct them to their appointments. Weekly morning or afternoon slot.
TROLLEY SERVICE
Run our hot drinks or snack/toiletries trolleys around our 2 inpatient wards and the gym. Weekly morning slot.
ENTERTAINMENT
Get involved with our events such as Christmas parties and afternoon teas!
Visit patients on their birthday!
DOG VISITS
Visit our some of our 2 inpatient wards with your dog. Apply via www.petsastherapy.org
MUSIC
Accomplished pianists are welcome to play our grand piano in the hospital entrance hall. We also welcome pianists and other musicians onto the wards. Regular weekly or ad-hoc visits.
WARD VISITS
Visit inpatients on our inpatient ward of the elderly. Help at lunchtimes, chat, read and sketch! Weekly regular slots at lunchtimes and afternoons.
