September Ibstock Place School Visit
What a wonderful afternoon on Mary Seacole Ward!
Recently we welcomed 10 Sixth Form students from Ibstock Place School, who organised a fun quiz and raffle for our patients. The students spent time chatting with patients, helping them with the quiz and creating a lovely atmosphere filled with smiles and laughter. They also sourced a fantastic selection of prizes, making it possible for every raffle prize to be given free of charge. Many of our patients spend weeks, and sometimes even months, on the ward, so afternoons like this bring a welcome change, helping to lift spirits and reduce feelings of isolation.
A huge thank you to the students for their hard work, to our patients for taking part with such enthusiasm, and to our wonderful ward staff for helping everyone attend. We can’t wait to do it all again later this year!
