Chapman Shum asked to play our piano when he was attending an appointment at the Hospital. Chapman is 12, from Hong Kong, and was born with an unknown rare disease that caused his eyes to never fully develop, and this also impacted his speech and learning abilities.
Last year, Chapman managed to pass the ABRSM Grade 8 with distinction results despite all the difficulties, and he is now challenging himself to pursue further musical qualifications.
